Recipe: Healthier Chocolate Chip Muffins

I have always loved to snack so have made it my mission to find healthier ways to create food I enjoy eating. These chocolate chip muffins were super easy to make and delicious. You can find a few other recipes here: Breakfast English Muffins, Bread, High Protein Bagels.

*I highly recommend this muffin tin as it’s nonstick and has grips. I also recently bought a set of six colorful plates (one of them pictured below) that I love. You can buy the muffin tin here and the colorful plates here

Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp of chocolate chips (you can certainly add more!)

Directions

  • Blend all of the ingredients except the chocolate chips
  • Pour the batter evenly into three muffin tins
  • Place chocolate chips in each of the muffins
  • Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees
