Where to Go in Savannah, Georgia

Savannah has become increasingly popular over the last few years. When I visited I couldn’t believe how many people were there. Some people say it’s the new Charleston? Not sure if I completely agree. I wrote a blog post about Charleston that you can read here. Happy travels!

Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room: This restaurant is one of the most popular spots in the city. It is only open Monday through Friday so keep that in mind! They serve home-style Southern Cooking. Yum!

Maple Street Biscuit: They have locations all over the U.S. (including in Texas which I have been to). I highly recommend The Five & Dime which is fried chicken breast, pecanwood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, fried egg, and sausage gravy.

The Olde Pink House: This is a gorgeous pink house that has beautiful décor on the inside. I highly recommend the Chef’s Fried Chicken and Mac & Cheese. Make sure to make reservations far in advance as they are always booked pretty far out.

Husk: There are several locations throughout the U.S. and reservations are also needed. They change their menu pretty regularly but their food is always incredible. I have a lot of friends who have been as well and they love it.

Rocks on the Roof at the Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront: This hotel has really good drinks and gorgeous views. It’s fun for date night or with friends.
