I went to the Maldives for the first time and had to take three planes each way to get there. Dallas -> Doha, Doha -> Male and then a seaplane from Male -> to the island I staying in. I curated a list of travel and flight essentials that helped me get through this journey (one was 15 hours straight and another one was 18 hours!). These carry-on must-haves work for long-haul international flights, shorter trips or road trips.
- Amazon Fire: Download movies and TV shows off of Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBO
- AirFly Premium Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter: Plug the gadget into the entertainment screen in the plane to use AirPods or any other wireless headphones
- AirPods Pro: Cancel out the noise
- iWALK Small Portable Charger: Ensure your phone doesn’t run out of battery during your travels
- Kindle Paperwhite: Read, read, read
- Mini Handheld Fan: Use the fan on planes, buses, and even outside
- Compression Socks: Wear them to help with swelling
- Emergen-C 1000mg Vitamin C: Drink water with emergen-c to help fight off any germs
- Evian Facial Spray: Spray the mist to cool off
- Simple Modern 40 oz Tumbler: Keep your drink cool (I had ice in it for 18 hours!)
