I have always been obsessed with caramel. I try not to buy it so I don’t always have it readily available because.. that would be dangerous haha. Last night I was eating some apple crisp (you can find my recipe here) and felt like something was missing.. then I thought.. caramel. This has happened to me a few times while I’m eating ice cream as well so I wanted to share a very easy and quick way to make delicious caramel. You can put it on apples, donuts, popcorn, cake, brownies or anything else. Enjoy!
½ a cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of butter
¼ cup of milk
Bring sugar, butter, and milk to a gentle boil and cook for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit for 10 minutes.
