It can sometimes be quite overwhelming to do a Netflix browse due to the number of movies and TV shows that are available. I compiled a list of captivating shows that range from comedies to dramas to documentaries that I believe you will enjoy. Happy watching!

1. ELITE

Elite is a show about the clash between wealthy students and working-class teenagers who start attending the same private school. Viewers can expect plot twists at every turn, murders, love stories and high levels of deception. The third season of Elite came out in March and everyone is already anxiously waiting for the next season. The show is originally from Spain but Netflix offers a voiceover option in English.

2. Schitt’s Creek

Schitt’s Creek is a comedy about a wealthy couple (played by the iconic Eugene Levy from American Pie and Catherine O’Hara from Home Alone) with two spoiled children who suddenly lose everything and become broke. A few years before everything happens, the family bought a town called Schitt’s Creek as a joke and it is now the only place that they can afford to live. The show is about the family coming together to survive their new reality. It is currently in its sixth and final season. Fun fact: there are three cast members that are related in real life.

3. Don’t F**k with Cats

Don’t F**k with Cats is a three-episode limited Netflix series about the evolution of an internet killer (Luka Magnotta) who starts off by making videos of killing cats and then progresses to killing a person. The story follows a group of people who watch the cat videos and try to find out the identity of the killer before he commits any more crimes. Warning: This show is extremely twisted and dark but you are instantly hooked.

4. Tiger KingTiger King has taken the world by storm since it premiered in March. It’s a true crime documentary about the wild life of Joe Exotic, who owns a zoo known for its big cats, and his fight against another cat sanctuary. It gives viewers a complete look into their lives and what they go through. The show is a train wreck that you simply can’t stop watching. What will be your favorite shocking moment?

5. Ozark

Ozark is a drama series with Jason Bateman and Laura Linney about a man who finds himself owing a large amount of money to a Mexican drug lord after a money-laundering scheme goes south. He moves with his family to a community in the Ozarks to find any way that he can to pay off his debts before it is too late. Ozark season 3 came out in March.
